Went out for a walk alone today, needed to get out, thought I would check out my fishing holes.

Beautiful day after the storm, no tracks in the snow, no deer, no coyotes, nothing.

Looks like an amazing day, Pete. One of those cleansing departure's from the rat race. Off topic- I've been looking for a photo of yours for a few day's and can't find it. It's the one of your carved bone moose with both blades set to half stop, by a stream. It is one of my most favorite images of a traditional and moved me to finally find the right moose for me. I purchased a brimstone bone version from a member here and was hoping to take a shot at recreating this particular shot. Can you either send it to me or re-post it please? Thanks.
Also, is this just like your back yard?

Nice pictures Pete! At first I thought it was just my wild imagination, thinking that the end of one of the kindling sticks under your boiling water pot looked like a face, but when I showed it to my son he agreed.

If so it's from my fishing hole in the pictures I took today.

Notthatsharp- I was thinking the same thing, I saw a large Bass skimming the top of the water like a shark & a pickerel close to shore.

Looks nice. I was stuck taking the car in for an inspection today, then cleaning up the snow from the storm.

I'm jealous, thanks for sharing.

Nice Pete. I got out a bit today with the kids and went for a small hike. It was 72 here today and the nights are only dropping down to high 30's at their coldest. Its almost camping weather my friend and I for one cant wait! Thanks for bringing us along on your hike, your pics are always a pleasure to view :thumbup:. Off to the bay for a bit, bday money already burning a hole in my pocket lol :D
 
Wait a minute, are you telling me that I do t need a super heavy duty 3 lb fixed blade and a bunch of tactical nylon gear to enjoy a day in the woods ?!??
