A Walk, Some Tracks, & A Blackhawk

If you scroll down fast enough you can see the helicopter fly;) reminds me of the flip clips, you know the books you flip into action..:D

Thanks for the post Brian, every time I open your posts it makes me want to go cut something and take a pic of it:D, which I haven't had the chance to do in about a month now..

soon, very soon.....

take care,

Rob

Thanks Rob, glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, I sat a while whittling and thought how I might be able to bait it in for pictures. Thought about setting up a tree stand, but that would be time consuming...I'd probably get bored and fall asleep.

Ironically me cutting things was one thing thing I didn't take many pictures of this time.

Love animal track shots as well as the wildlife themselves.
Series of footprints makes me think about the one who left the track, what did he do
or where did he go, for what purpose and so on..

Thanks for posting great thread as usual, mistwalker.

Thanks Fujita, glad you liked it. I once spent a lot of time intentionally studying animal tracks but that was a long time ago. It seems it is a hobby that has been re-born

I assume so--just that there are a lot of tracks, quite deep. If the mud was too squishy, they would have closed in on themselves and had irregular edges from the...whattaya call that with mud...vaccuum...anyway, the suction of lifting the foot out.

I didn't see that there; although the tracks were more than a couple days old, they were pretty solidly packed and well formed. That suggests weight to me.

Most of the ones I have seen here were pretty big so it definitely could be, pretty good sized tracks.
