Hey Gang. Hope all is great with you guys and gals!

Anyways. I love using the Wave feature to open my EKI's, especially the one I carry in the RRP. Sadly, enough of the fold at the top of the pocket is gone on all my jeans making Wave use quite difficult without a out and away from me type of pull which I don't like. I end up buying new jeans because of this. Any of you the same way?:)

Urban Star jeans from Costco. $15 and they are pretty decent, too. I have the same problem with my FR pocket :)

Well I usually wear Vertx pants, they hold up quite well, My jeans brand is Levis 559, I've noticed a little bit of wear on my knife pocket but I buy one pair a year, not much shredding, been thinking of reinforcing the pocket with leather somehow, not sure how it would work out though.

I buy Wranglers at Wal-Mart for $15.00/pair. Honeslty I am not wearing out my pocket with my Emerson Knives. I changer to clean jeans daily. But I Honesly do not use the wave feature when removing the knife from my jeans, I move the knive back a tad in the pocket before removing it not engaging the wave.

I am sure if I engaged the wave daily my jeans would also get work out fast in the pocket area.

Maybe some non trendy jeans proven through the ages for actual durability?

LOL! These Oakley jeans help up for 2 years. That's fine with me. They were less than $40.00 when I got them.:)

Man, I still haven't been to Costco yet.:p

You could also sand the G10 a bit under the clip. This helps reduce the pant shredding.

The pocketclip can also wear on the fabric too so double the damage. Kinda...:D

Lmao...Damn Ray, sell a knife and get 40 pair of costco jeans problem solved..j/k! You know people pay extra for that worn look...

mine aren't that bad but yeah.

the new g10 texture is destroying the inside of my pockets.

Mail them to me I'll sew those babies right up. Come on you're good with your hands. Get some blue thread. And stitch those puppies up.

^^Thanks for the offer!:D

Actually thinking of wandering over to the local fabric store and see what they have. Might try my hand at fixing a couple pairs of what I have or just save them for fashionable sheeple day.:p

I sewed in some sail cloth into the inside of my pockets. It's slick and wear resistant.

LMAO. I just waved a Spydie Endura (my first waved knife ever) and thought that it seemed like using the wave was causing a bit of premature pocket wear. At least I now know my imagination wasn't running wild on me.

I just tore the pocket of my Levis waving an Emerson a couple of weeks back. It was an unnecessary wave, too. Waving isn't for me.

No wave CQC-7

I have to admit, my non-wave 7 is my favorite 7. ...for now... :)
