We also practiced some bow drill skills and want to personally thank John & Tony for helping me get my first coal .

All in all if was a great time and, me being a relative newb, I felt honored to be in the company of these highly skilled woodsmen and all around great guys.

Sorry for the lack of knife related porn :D.

 Who else was there, I thought it was just John and Tony

:D

Looks like a good time, where in Harriman were you?

So a Puerto Rican, Irishman, and Italian go into the woods..........:D

Yup, we had great time and a lot of laughs!

We didn't hike much, it was pretty much a sit in one spot and practice/learn different things day! John and I had a couple of video requests that we wanted to work on. We are probably gonna have to do them again as it was hard to keep a straight face through most of them:o

I hope your ankle feels better bro!

Anyway I didn't get a lot of pics, but here are a few.

Kuruptd, did John get a video of your bow drill??

We were over by Sterling Forest.

Hey GS, I think Theo was referring to the 'highly skilled woodsmen' comment. :D

GS, any chance on a diagram of RR's bird snare? I can't quite make out how it works.

GP

Edited to add: Sorry, RR, I would have asked you if I knew you were here (saw your name below)

Doc

Thanks GS. I think I've got it. I'm at work right now but when I go home, I'll do a sketch and see if it's correct.

Looks like you had a good time. Of course, with those personalities, how could you not

Looks like a good trip! Wish I could have been there... Tony, I finally lost my saw little saw and ended up picking up a big one like your Corona...I like!
