A Wednesday BF meet up at Harriman State Park

I had the pleasure of meeting tonym and RescueRiley for the first time yesterday and just wanted to share a few pics.

Here's RescueRiley doing some batoning with his trusty Mora.

Tonym prepping some wood for his figure 4 trap.

RescueRiley showed us how to set-up this cool tree spring noose trap.

We took a little break to enjoy some good old franks & beans as well as tonym's pine needle tea.

RescueRiley brought his tomahawk for us to play with.

We also practiced some bow drill skills and want to personally thank John & Tony for helping me get my first coal :thumbup:.

All in all if was a great time and, me being a relative newb, I felt honored to be in the company of these highly skilled woodsmen and all around great guys.

So a Puerto Rican, Irishman, and Italian go into the woods..........

Yup, we had great time and a lot of laughs!

We didn't hike much, it was pretty much a sit in one spot and practice/learn different things day! John and I had a couple of video requests that we wanted to work on. We are probably gonna have to do them again as it was hard to keep a straight face through most of them

I hope your ankle feels better bro!

Anyway I didn't get a lot of pics, but here are a few.
