WOW, ED FOWLER HAS JOINED OUR RANKS!

What great news! I hope that he is planning on doing some posting here. I read on the Blade Discussion forum that he has joined so that he can get email addresses to those people that he would like to give personal answers to questions to.

Whatever the reason you joined Ed, it is wonderful to have you here.:D

Gee, they'll let anyone join this place! ;)

Welcome, Ed. Hope you'll enjoy your time here.

It is wonderful to have Ed and Angie here. Over the years Ed's writings have come to mean a lot to me. One in particular that has been mentioned in the forums triggered a long conversation with Ray Appleton that has had a strong effect on my life personally. Ed's article was about Ray befriending a young boy who was terminally ill and at that time my best friend and neighbor was in the final stages of brain cancer after a 3 year battle.

I have learned much about life from him as well as knives directly and indirectly. Welcome and thanks Ed. I hope you enjoy participating here to whatever degree you are comfortable with.

Ed and Angie,

Welcome to the forums. Enjoyed meeting you this past June at the Blade Show even though it was only for a few minutes.

Don't forget to save some time on Thursday next year for the BBQ. We will probably have it catered by Sonny's and I hear you and PHil are REAL fond of that place.:D

Welcome to Mr Fowler and his wife Angie.
I just can't stop reading Ed's "Knife Talk" What a Great collection of articles and stories. I think I also wore out Ed's tape over the last 2 weeks. Two wonderful sources of valuable knife info. Highly recommend them for anyone interested in High Peformance knives. Made me want to find and fire up a forge. Already have my old farriers anvil and hammers. One of these days.
By the way I always hold and look at my Ed Fowler knife, (3 1/8" Pronghorn style blade of 52100 ) while watching the video. It makes the knife even more inpressive. Regards, Jim.. Proud owner of a Fowler Knife

Who's this Fowler guy? Isn't he the guy who once emptied out an entire store by parking a truckload of rancid dead sheep next to their ventilation system?? Or the guy who keeps a rattlesnake in a tank in the living room?
Just kidding, Ed and Angie, it's a pleasure to have you both here as members finally. Now how about coming back to the NY show in Nov. like you used to?

Dave

Angie & Ed,
