i can now open and close it with one hand without thinking about it.

Some call it playing with a knife like a toy. I call it necessary practice with a tool that happens to be damn fun to play with. Plus, unless you work with it all day, helps to get the parts mated up.

By breaking in the washers on my CRK the right way (without polishing), I've determined the studs are not comfortable for me .

And before I get jumped for stating my opinion, YES I completely understand the "proper method" to open a CRK. While it is smooth, it just isn't comfortable for ME.

Button lock flippers was my first thought. In my humble collection, it's a broken in Malibu on skiffs. Like a symphony of steel, gravity, design and consistency.
