This is a new design with a western look. Its a clipped point in 1/8" O1 steel with some heat treat color left on the flats for very rustic feel. It has a flat grind to about 10 thousandths behind the cutting edge, and a 25 deg micro bevel. This is a great general purpose cutting geometry. Gets super sharp and is easily sharpened. The blade is 4 1/2" with an overall length of 8 3/4".
The handle is made of mesquite with black G10 liners and copper pins. The handle was hand sanded to 400 grit and buffed. this brings out the beauty of the wood without being slippery.
It also comes with a leather sheath that has been wet formed for a snug fit. It is made from 6-7 oz veg tanned leather that was dyed to match the handle.
