A word about quality control.

All my Spydercos had great fit and finish. Though I didn't really like my Gayle Bradley in that there was superglue between the scales and the liners(at least I didn't find any other screws holding the two together), and some weird clear threadlocker on the screws which seemed to have the approximate bonding strength of red loctite.

I've had dozens of Spydies over the past 20+ years, and have had only ONE issue in all that time.

My first Caly Jr. had a blade that was off-centered. It didn't rub, but I mostly fixed this with some judicious pivot tightening. I didn't send it back because this was a common occurrence with that particular design and didn't really affect use. I still use it to this day.
