A work in progress with quite a few pics.

Great work, thanks for the WIP pics :)

I really like the handle shape in combination with the wharnie blade.

Thanks for sharing, Sir!

A very nice combination. Great work! Hope to see more in the near future.

Looks great! Thank you for taking the time to post such a in depth WIP. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Thank you all very much again for the comments. I wanted to make this design work and I am glad it is well received.
Also if someone sees something that may make it better, let me know your ideas.
Thanks again.
Nathan

Wow that is just awesome! I would really like to hold one of these in hand and play with it as it just looks like a super nice knife.

Nathan, is like to see more pictures of the drilling jig you used to hold the liner/cover while drilling from the liner side.
The knife pattern itself isn't my thing, but I can sure appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into it. Looks beautiful.

Just a note on tolerances. A human hair is about 100µm, or 0.0039 inches. A custom slipjoint is built to tolerances less than 0.0005 inches. I like that.

Great work Nathan, you show a lot of promise, it won't be long before people are drooling over your knives, I'm sure that they're drooling now.

Thanks for the WIP, keep up the good work.

Hello Brian. Here is one pic that I found for you. The top of the jig is 1-1/2" or so aluminum angle with a few notches milled. The supports are a couple pieces of scrap aluminum tubing turned to identical lengths. It works pretty well.

Thank you,
Nathan
