A year of BF and INFI addiction

This is a huge collection even for a lifetime of collecting. But one year?!?! This makes me feel so much better. Thanks for sharing!

Holy heaven. The grail is in the thread. Now only if those Busse's were 28 year old knock-out blondes in bikinis...meh...close enough. ROFL

Very, very nice collection, LE....Just for one year.

I wonder how an oldtimer collection looks like? Several safes full of INFI.?!?!??!

I've been trading on the forums for over 11 years, and what makes it work for me is being able to own, handle and enjoy a large number of exotic and custom knives to which I would otherwise have absolutely no access. I buy and sell Busse's probably 5 to 1 in volume over other blades, and at times my collection has grown to over 100 knives, but the nice thing is I know I can thin the herd any time without losing significant $$$. I sold off $10K worth a couple of years ago and added up all the buy/sell transactions--found I lost a grand total of $147 including shipping costs.

I don't know where else I can have that much fun for $147--wouldn't cover even one good hold 'em betting round in Vegas--and the thing about Busse's is, I never get sucked out on.

Nice year's work, LE!

woah, i thought i had a problem. i think you just helped me rationalize my next knife purchases with the thought of " well its not like i went crazy like leagleeagle"!! :) awesome collection brother.

Seriously, just when I was thinking I was having a problem. I hide knives from the wife as if they are my mistress. Heheheheh. Awesome pics brother- great thread- and an amazing collection regardless of time. You got all bases covered. Thx for your service and your patriotism by providing those young soldiers with Busse goodness. :)

So where's your pic of safe-full of INFI, Will ? ;)

BTW...I'm glad you have not lost $$$ out of this hobby.

Nice year's work, LE!

Great reason to buy quality like my grandfather always says to me. I don't see any other makers consistently maintaining value and sellability like Bussekin.

What a nice collection LE.

Bad news is I'm down to the bare bones.

Good news is I'm absolutely in love with just about every Busse I have now. I have maybe two dozen Busse's I'll eventually sell, mostly duplicates plus a half dozen "collector" pieces I know I'll never use. Those I will likely pass along for others to enjoy--but at this point I'm in no rush.

And amazingly enough, there are very few remaining model's I'm still trying to score. ;)

Here's a pic from a couple of years back on my journey--all NMFBM's:

If you think that Ergo set is your "current" Grail ...... just wait to you handle the SHSHII.
I see another Grail Quest in your future!!!

Beautiful collection!!!

Wicked Sick collection, love it
Props to you for helping out the Troops

Thanks everybody. For everyone who feels better glad I could help. Feel free to use me to justify your next knife. I just wanted to share my passion/obsession with people who could understand, because my family and friends think I am crazy.

Will York- I keep telling myself it's an investment and I could liquidate if I had too (also why they aren't all users)

GravelFace- I know I am in trouble, but those old SH might be out of my reach. Time and luck will tell the tale on that.

Mannlicher- Only thing sad is I couldn't get more. Wish I had few more CABS, and the MS SLUT.
