Hey guys, I know I am new here and I am not the most experienced, but I have been lucky enough to pick up a bunch of quality knives in the last several months. Most of them customs from great knife makers found here on the forums. I was also lucky enough to meet allot of you guys at the CT gathering this spring. I noticed a bunch of younger fellows there; not even out of high school yet. One in particular stood out as really knowledgeable of the outdoors and use of blades. He shocked most of us with those qualities and his maturity, but most of all the wicked edge he restored to our Barkies!:D

So a few weeks ago when I saw his first few knives in the makers for sale area I was not surprised. I was lucky enough to be able to grab one of his offerings yesterday and it arrived today.(I know really fast, but we both live in CT) I expected an OK knife with a good edge, what I got was a scary sharp solid blade, with clean handle work and excellent file work to boot. It felt great in hand and totally blew me away!

Siguy... Keep up the great work. If this is the quality of knives you’re putting out now with the minimum equipment that you’re working with, I can't wait to see your future work. I am proud to be one of your first few customers and this knife will definitely not be the last I purchase from you:thumbup:

The only complaint if I you would call it that; is that the ricasso is a bit pointy and digs in my hand a little when I hold it firmly, but I’ll hit with a file and it will be fine.

Everything else makes it a perfect EDC. So it will be going to Ilbruche for some classy pants.

Tony, thanks very much for the kind words.

i am glad that you like the knife, and the fast shipping is a bit surprising but seeing as how we are both in the same state...

i just got the email too, i see you jumped the gun, but i approve, and thank you for it. ;)

i was just told that a few family members are pitching in to get me a nice bandsaw sometime in the future as a birthday present. can't wait! that will make things alot easier...

well, thanks again.

I didn't think you would mind, I figured you were sleeping and I am out of town for a few days on business and didn't know when I'd get a chance to post so; yeah I jumped the gun.

Thanks for a great knife bro!

Congrats on the new knife Tony, and Siguy, your little passaround knife was awesome(did Jake score that?). Keep up the good work!!

For what ever its worth Siguy always struck me as a very mature person. His posts are always to the point and a pleasure to read.. Siguy you are one hell of a guy and thats the truth... Even if i never meet you.. better stop now before it would go to his head lol..

Nice work. I love seeing the improvement.

A drill press is the most important knifemakers tool. They're not that expensive either. Just always remember to clamp down any metal you drill. Never skip this.

thanks for the kind words everyone.

rockywolf, i don't have the list in front of me, but i think that the last person in line has it right now...i will have to check to see who that is.

This piece of advice is soooooo true!

I tried to skip this step on the last knife I made...trust me, it hurts! -Matt-
