Hello BF,
Knife is SPF.
I have been playing around with search and rescue designs, what I mean is taking attributes of knives that fit that category and incorporating the ideas into mine. This isn't a SAR knife, however I had been playing around with rounded butts and thought this one was worth finishing off... It feels great in hand and has serious heft. Kind of a plain Jane Busse
OAL is 10 3/4 inches, cutting edge is 6. Stock is 1/4. Blade is 1 5/16 inches spine to edge.
These are ground with a full flat primary bevel and convexed secondary bevel.
This A2 knife was heat treated, cryogenically treated, triple tempered, and tested to guaranteed Rc of 59-61 by Peters of Meadville, PA.
The field knife will come with a kydex sheath, I still need to put it together.
Handles are black canvas Micarta with 5/16 SS corby rivets and 1/4 inch tube.
Knife is $149, MO, Paypal, CC, etc are fine. Shipping FREE Conus, I will ship internationally at cost.
Thanks for looking, John
