A2 knives being discontinued?

Hi fellow CRK fans,

There is a post on the exchange stating that A2 knives will be discontinued after this year. I took it to mean that the one piece line will be made from another steel.

Any truth to the statement by this seller?

The whole One Piece line is being discontinued. They are my favorite CR Knives. I have 16 of them and would not trade any of them. The blanks are rough ground in South Africa whre Chris started before he came to the US. This drasticly drops the cost to us US buyers. The guy that does the grinding there wants to retire. And if they were made here in the US, the $200 shadow 3 may be $350........for an example. It will surly be a sad day when CRK stops making them. They are the line that made him famous and the line that brought CRK to my attention.
 
sigh...get em while you can......im getting two of each... one to use one to keep in the case
