Hello fellas, here from the south of Italy, my land is world renown for excellent extravigin olive oil and Olive trees.
Hope you will like it, they are really really gorgeous.

Once upon a time here I found the really best Olive Burls blocks.
IMO they are the best burl ever seen from every wood.
They are very veneered, burled and also flamed!
They comes from one meter block gosh... pricey as teck...) and are the best of the best.
With my luthier friend soon I will try to find some other in the future... i hope

The picture will show best my feelings.

Some tips on this olive wood: they are very dense and naturally oily.
Hard to work but they take a great polish and contrast almost without any finishing. Who works this kind of woods knows that once sanded and polished they almost need no oil for finishing, just buffing.
