Aaarhhhg!!! - Knife has gone MIA

Just recovered a knife that was missing ... I looked everywhere - but on my wife's dresser! When I showed her my replacement she said ... "Hey that's just like the one on my dresser". :D

I guess I've got so many pocket knives laying around that she didn't even wonder about it. I had just bought her a Queen hawk bill for gardening and she thought my knife was hers. She was actually disappointed when she handed it back to me.

Stop looking for it and it will find you. When was the last time you saw it? ;)

I feel your pain. Been looking for my TSF Beast for a week now - no luck yet......

So, I need to buy you a beer for saying this but seeing that lost beauty makes me feel a tiny bit better. Isn't that an awful thing to say out loud?

Anyway, now I hope both of find our lost knives.

Good juju sent your way! For years I've been missing a wonderful Laguiole my lovely wife bought me on an anniversary get-away, and recently misplaced my Canal Street ivory bone Pinch ;-(. We have moved since I lost the gift, it'd be a true miracle if I find it.

I think most of us feel your pain. I'm still missing my case stockman that served me well for 10+ years before it went missing.
If it doesn't show up by monday pm me. I'm pretty sure I have a not new duke sitting around in storage.

Look again in the car, way down low where the seat track attaches to the floor. Use a flashlight, and look closely from the front and back. If you have a center console, look closely between the seat and console. Then look some more. There is a 22% chance that its there and you missed it the first time. Link.

Precisely what I was talking about in posts #2, 15. It was you who encouraged me to go back and look again, and there it was all the time, hidden from my previous searches.

Thanks again!

I don't mean to rub it in considering what a beautiful knife that is, but just what is that fine looking knife?

Believe it or not it's a Rough Rider. They called it the San Mai, bone handles, not sure how they did the blade and bolster. Inexpensive, but a nice unique lockback with a sweet drop point.

I hope you find it ! don't give up . I recently found a knife I lost in the mountains after 2 months. Well my wife actually spotted it. Maybe ask your wife to look for it. A 2nd set of eyes might do the trick. I wish you the very best of luck. Do you have some sort of magnet you can stick down in the places your hand can't fit and your eyes can't see?
