So I've been giving thought to all that have contributed to my learning and understanding of a great many things knife making related. So many people come to mind, and I appreciate every last one of you. That said, I've *really* enjoyed watching Aarons videos, threads, and just learning along side him as he's progressed in his career. I haven't had an opportunity to thank you directly.

Thanks for all your hard work bud. In my opinion, you're doing it right and helping so many of us along the way. I know this because your name comes up often enough while talking with others "behind the scenes".

It's clear you're dedicated to advancing the craft.

I couldn't agree more.

Aaron's thoughtfulness, intelligence, articulateness, and especially his unfailing politeness and genuine good nature make his threads and videos a real pleasure to follow. And his meticulous attention to detail combined with his knack for presenting information in a useful way makes them incredibly helpful, especially to someone like me who is still cutting his teeth.

Thank you, Aaron!!

I've made the same comments about him in one of his threads. I like his style of thoughtful threads and responses, which isn't too unusual, as I think it's a lot like how I try to post.

A good use for my 100th post. Keep up the good work Aaron.

Thanks Strig, the sentiment means a lot to me. It's been a pleasure so far sharing the journey with folks like yourself here on BF. All the great feedback and knowledge I've gotten from here is definitely a big part of what keeps me motivated!

Yep, for sure.

Getting to chat with you is always great Dave!

The knifemaker community is great, friendly and helpful, definitely set a great example for me when I was getting started, and continues to set examples that I want to live up to.

Overall: shucks guys, you're too kind. The kind words are appreciated!

When a noob inevitably asks about making bevels with basic tools I always give them the link to Aaron's excellent filing jig video. Keep up the good work.

I got to Meet Aaron at the CKG show in Toronto last month and really enjoyed our conversations. While I didn't get to see to many of his blades I was really impressed with what he had with him. Very clean and well thought out patterns. Fit and finish were very well done. I'll be watching for more of his videos here.

Thanks Aaron you are the man for sharing all of your knowledge with all of us, it must be hard to find time not only to make knives but also share so much in videos and on the forum! You rock man!

Nice job Aaron! Your work is much appreciated.

Thanks mate! I appreciate the conversations we've had a lot!

Aaron is the man!

Thanks Josh!

I'm really glad that video has been helpful! I consider that video to be my way of passing on the knowledge that Neil Charity gave to me when I was just getting started. He gave me a filing jig similar to the one I show in the video, I love that I'm able to 'help him' to continue teaching new knifemakers even though he's passed on.

Thanks for passing around the video!

It was great to meet you Paul! Your knives were fantastic, really awesome to see such beautiful work up close. I haven't had a chance previously to handle many custom knives, so it was amazing for me to see so many beautiful knives in one place!

Looking forward to catching up again soon, would love to see some of your process at some point!

Your input is greatly appreciated.

Cheers Doc!

Just wanted to take the chance here to say thanks to everyone that has contributed over the last few years as I've been learning, being able to learn from so many experienced folks is really fantastic. Next year is going to be another big leap for me as I move toward mid-tech, I'm really looking forward to getting to share that journey with you all as well!

Thanks to everyone as well for chiming in on this thread. Wasn't ever expecting to see something like this! Makes me want to go make more videos! :)

A-Go, I mentioned the other day to another member here (they know who they are, but I'm not gonna say) that I really thought your work was top notch. I enjoy your videos as well, and can say you single handedly had me re-evaluate some of my methods and change a few of them. Thank you for your continued input in the forum. One day very soon I'm going to have to add one of your blades to my collection.
