Like many others, I own several knives. So I like to research a new knife before I buy. I have owned a Leatherman for years, since back when they first came out. I have been studying the Wave since they were first introduced and not available. My original Leatherman is still in good shape and been several miles with me. When I decided to buy one I, like many forumites, compared on-line prices with several dealers and even checked into local prices. ABC-Direct had the best deal at the time. I ordered one on-line late last Wednesday night and received an E-mail the next day stating that the Wave was out of stock and not expected until next week. I was given the option to cancel my order. I had waited this long, so what's a few extra days. Well I received my new Wave yesterday. What? Six days with a delay? With UPS-Ground shipping to boot? I double checked dates on the E-mail order confirmation and Mike Gallagher's messages. I thought I had lost a week or two. This was fast, good service. ABC-Direct "Hats Off to You" Now if I could just stop my wife's cat from standing on my head at three in the morning, I'd be really happy.
