Question about conversations, PM's

Private messages are a perk for those who have paid subscriptions. There is "proper management" because you have the ability to delete & manage your conversations at will. Not familiarizing yourself with how the software works or it's terminology is a user, not software, issue. The "basic" level of membership is a "bare bones" level of features - avatar, limited private messaging, no ads, access to the trade areas, etc.

If I was earning millions off ads on this site, I'd be happy to offer FB levels of features, trust me.

You are more than welcome to develop a scalable, low-server-overhead, free solution; I encourage you to do so! Free hosting as well. I encourage you to offer this service to the world.

Not sure why you are so defensive. I'm sorry to offend.
I do like everything else about the forum! Even if i can't trade the 5mb of gallery space i'll never use for some more pm's ;)

One cannot delete individual messages from a "conversation". There are two ways to delete a conversation - If you just want to thin down your mailbox & know what you want to keep, select the box at the left of the conversations you want to remove. A popup will open - click to leave the conversations. If you already have a conversation opened, and want to remove it - click Leave Conversation.
