About Memorial Day

My Hat off to all past, present and future servicemen. Payers for all daily. Your service has my deepest respect.
 
Today is Memorial Day. Like many other people I’ll probably toss a few burgers on the grill and enjoy the beautiful weather we’re having here in San Diego. As I go through the day though, I’ll stop and say a quiet thank you to those who can no longer speak for themselves, the ones who gave us the freedom that we have.

Thanks to all who have served since the birth of our country, to those still serving, and to those who will protect us in the future, too.

We remember.

I stopped by the new Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery south of Joliet, Illinois (SW of Chicago) yesterday. Lots of activity being Memorial Day weekend. I'll share these with you.
