About the smoke threads

I have very few posts, as I tend to read or listen more than speak. The Cantina is a social place from my observation, and civility should be the norm. There is no place for rudeness or antisocial behavior. This may occur at some time or another, but let's keep things as civil as possible. That is why I come here. Just my .02.
 
Smoke for me is very personal . I have never asked it of others . Even when I suffer personal tragedy as I am this very day . Do I think less of them because of this ? It is just who I am . There is also the fact it is my belief that the one raising the smoke must be well themselves . They also must feel within themselves it is the right thing to do . This is just a personal belief .

If I sometimes do not respond to smoke requests it is no reflection upon the person who requests it . My actions are a reflection of myself and nothing more .
 
IMO, Spiraltwista did nothing that would merit his being banned. Indeed, you might want to reflect on your angry diatribe and name calling... :rolleyes:

I'd also recommed that you privately air your grievances with the moderators, and deal with your personal issues, instead of publicly asking for a member of the forum to be banned. ;)
 
I had a situation on the Bladeforums where someone was very rude and I thought way out of bounds. I said that I was leaving and was surprised at the persons behavior, thanked everyone and left. That person was later banned, returned, banned again, returned, banned, returned, banned....17 times.
I did'nt think I needed to say anything about the person, he made his own arguement. If I say something and I'm challenged on it, I try to present the logic, reason and facts that support my opinion. If that is not sufficient, there is really nothing else for me to say.
 
I for one always enjoy reading your posts DannyinJapan and would really hope you do not consider leaving...I enjoy hearing about Japan and want to visit there one day!
