About this Becker fan

I take a bow to both Bladite and dawsonbob for keeping this forum fresh and interesting as we head into what will surely be an expanding Becker fan base. And, as for the Man himself, never a more approachable, personable individual have I had the pleasure of meeting, than Ethan Becker at Blade this year. As I approached the Kabar/Becker booth, both Ethan and Tooj were there to shake hands and answer questions. It's always nice to be able to put a face with a name. Tooj happened to notice an Izula I was wearing around my neck (I wore my Becker Necker the day before), and slid the ESEE/Becker collaboration they were working on in front of me. The Magnum Camp (forgive me if I got that wrong) was also an interesting piece, but the overall experience was heightened only because of some genuinely friendly folks behind those tables and booths.
Like most of you, I have a fairly broad collection of knives from many different manufacturers, but my Becker pieces are as near and dear to me as any others. Thanks to all who make this whole Becker experience exciting.

If I had to stake my life on one knife, it would be my BK2, hands down. I'm a big fan! Good stuff, DB!

Truer words were never spoken.

I got my Crewman for $42 dollars many years ago. Judging by how it has performed for me over the years, it is perhaps the best gear purchase I've ever made.
