I have a LionSteel SR-1 in Chad Nichols raindrop damascus and I agree that he does some awesome things with damascus.

I'm surprised you were able to talk Darrell into a full backspacer! Will it be titanium, steel, or damascus?

I just received a custom Darrel Ralph (the middle one). It has an S-90-V blade. The others are Stellite 6-K. I have a couple Stellite 6-BH (Talonite) CUDA's. I think you'll like the Stellite.View attachment 433254
