Just getting in my 2 cents worth I guess. I still like to keep Mr. Corkum near the top of the list. Hope everyone has a pleasant weekend.

I saw some of his blades for sale at a pawn shop in Westminster MD. I asked who made them, and when I found out it was Steve Corkum, I asked them if they got them from him. By the time they finished laughing, they told me all I knew on here about him. At least the word has gotten out.

I have seen several sites on the web that advertise taking orders for his knives. Whether they get any takers, I don`t know.

This probably won`t surprise anyone, but there is a very reputable knife company that has one of corkum`s swords for sale. How they got the sword from him is perfectly legal, they either bought it, or have it on consignment. What`s interesting isthat this sword is one that he I paid for many years ago. Corkum told me that someone else had changed his mind, so he offered it to me. I paid in full, as then he was still getting a few knives out to people, so I had no idea about what would happen in the future. This same sword was offered I found out to a good friend of mine too, several years later, but the fellow didn`t have the money for it. I had heard that corkum was in Maryland, but didnt really give it a moments thought.
