I just wanted to complement three knife makers who I have purchased knives from and who went "above and beyond" what they had to do. Mason Leeth has made three knives for me. All of them have been superb cutters, holding an edge extremely well, practical in use and really nice looking. In short all that a knife should be and all that you would want it to be. Also his sheaths are as sturdy and well made as his knives are. Aside from that though, he answered questions and concerns, emailed photo's (on his own w/o my asking) and made every effort to be a professional businessman as well as the talented knife maker and craftsman that he is. I don't think you can do better than that.
Secondly, earlier in the year I emailed Leif Lambertson after viewing one of his knives on the forum and asked him about making a knife. Leif explained the process to me, emailed me photo's at various times as he was working on the knife (on his own w/o my asking) and sent me a knife and sheath that I am more than happy with.
Thirdly, Jeff Baker is cut from the same cloth in that he makes a fine knife, displaying excellent craftsmanship and he sends photo's and explains things and asks questions as he progresses.
All three of these guys are fine craftsman and good people to deal with because they are also good businessmen and good ambassador's for the art of knife making.
