Ever since I had my Kevin Powers disc grinder work rest made I use my disc much more than I ever did. Thanks Kevin for sharing your design, it works great! I ran out of Kingspor sheets and I need to order more. In a pinch I buy what I can at the hardware store. What's your opinion on the sheets you get at the hardware stores vs the brands you get from knife supply companies? What brand do you like, and why? Thanks!

i use RHYNOWET REDLINE SHEETS from supergrit.com for the disc grinder, for hand sanding steel and wood. They can be used wet or dry and are reasonably priced.

I don't have a disc grinder (yet), but I've had much more success with the Rhynowet redline sheets than the stuff you typically get at the big box stores. Good stuff.
