ABS Expo Report 2013

Thanks for all the photos.
The Jim Rodebaugh folder is really nice, he can really make a good looking sheath too.

Thanks for the report. The show was great one of my best I sold 7 knives withing the first 10 minutes of sales opening up. It is great at this show being able to spend time with the collectors and makers as well. I really enjoy it because of the fact I can spend time talking to collectors about what they look for and what they want to see, at other shows that is not always possible due to the hectic schedule.

So glad the show was awesome! I'm so bummed I missed it this year. Really enjoy the great friends I have at that show. I will be there next year!

Erik I am really sorry I missed taking pictures of your table. I really wanted to get all of the makers I see on BF. There were always people in front of it!

I enjoyed getting to see all the beautiful knives and getting to chit-chat with folks. It's a good opportunity to learn and to pass along information that you may have.

Happiness is. . . Reviewing this thread for twenty minutes with your 15year old daughter and having her say,"take me with you next year dad."

Kim

Thanks for posting the thread. It was great to meet you. Hope to see you and your daughter at the show next year.

This year was the best Expo ever, I think. Everybody I talked to said they had a great show. Lot of collectors in the room, new and old. I suspect next year will be even better.
Regards,
Steve

I was just thinking and thought that I should add that a lot of the makers brought their wives and some stayed a couple days extra thats how nice it is there they all seem to be having a great time some even came into the knife show for a visit or to drop off a bite to eat But they did not stay long as there is so much to do in walking distance of the show.

I really enjoyed this thread. Thanks for starting it and posting all the great shots, knives and attendees. This looks like a good reason for going back to San Antonio 40 years later. It'll far and away be better then the visit to Lackland AFB for basic training.
