ABS forum denied my application

LOL just cause you asked Rick doesn't mean you moved to the front of the line, I told you then i would need to wait to get access to the big hammer to make yours, but, must have got lost in wherever, whatever you got it figured out anyway.

Just kidding, of course. I'm not a forger, but if I was, ABS would be the first organization I would look into.

ABS is awesome, you should join us.

On a side note, I have three Sam hammers and three pairs of Sam tongs, I use them every day.

I think it's that they don't want pseudonyms on the board. I'm surprised they allow "zaph_one". I registered as Richard Marchand for the ABS and the forum won't even let me use Rick_Marchand as a profile name. Not even my mother calls me Richard.

Thank you for posting that Karl. Yes you must use your correct first and last name, no pseudonyms.
Also Zaph1, are you sure you joined the ABS forum? After searching the member list I do not find Zaph_one as a member of the forum. If you would like to join you must use your correct first and last name. We would welcome you if you should decide to join the ABS and the forum.

Did you try Dick Marchand? Maybe that is the appropriate shortened name the ABS was looking for.....
 
Thanks, Bruce..... my dad is a Dick.... they called me Lil' Dick in highschool but that was for something totally different.:(
 
I haven't attempted to join yet, but have actually been considering it. I wouldn't use Zaph1 if I did join, as I found I dislike using it here. However, would they allow Steffes-Clayton or would it have to be Steffes_Clayton. According to the rules as I read them, only underscores are allowed.
