ABS style knives

the ABS Mastersmith and yes, that is is vesion of that tool. The things I really like about John's design is that not only does it have 4 scraper "bldes, but it will cut all the way to the bottom of the hole you drill. I want one.....lol.

I like that, John the recovering folder maker/machinist. Yep that is the tool. John can be reached at jpknives@cyberback.com. I use them on every hidden tang knife I make in some way or another. The one drawback is that some materials (ironwood) can clog them and you have to clean them every few passes.
