PTGDVC just called in, the majority of JS and MS applicants passed, but Gustavo Vilar has not been seen yet.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

So do we know who was testing?

Hanson, Wheeler, White - who else?

MS:
Steve Culver
Don Hanson
Jason Knight
John White
Jean Cleaude something or other from France.(sorry, my communication chain is rusty)

JS:
Sam Butler
Bill Buxton
Jimmy Chin
Nick Wheeler
Matt Roberts

Not looking good for Gustavo at this point, the ABS is not generally forgiving of "issues".

Updates provided as they come in. Still no word on the other applicants.

Matt Diskin got Best Antique style knife by a JS from the Antique Bowie Collectors Association
Harvey Dean got Best Antique style knife by a MS from the Antique Bowie Collectors Association

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

From what I know I think Craig Camerer is going for MS and Sam Butler is testing for JS. I saw Sam's knives and they look good.

Kelly cupples just called me and nick won the peck award
Sam Fogler

Jason Knight won the Hughes award for his dagger.

It was Peter's fighter posted in the Blade Show preview thread that won Nick the Peck.

Still looking for a full list of test candidates.

I am headed back from a great Blade Show. Craig did not test for MS. Sam passed his JS. I think 12 of the 15 who tested passed the JS. The 6 who tested for MS passed with flying colors. Heard all MS test knives were great this year.
