OK, so I have NO idea what this model is called. I saw it in a table shot from SICAC, and I tracked it down and acquired it from a great dealer. And when I first held it, I thought it was absolutely ragingly insane, so I started calling it what I do.
Honestly, this is quite simply THE most outrageous knife I have ever owned. Here are the specs:
6 3/4" blade
9" overall
almost 2" wide
1/16" thick
The fact is, I love holding it and looking at it and walking around with it in my apartment, but I can't see ever using it (blade's too long for TX carry) and it also scares the crap out of my fiancee. And mind you, she's no shrinking violet: she thinks my vintage Cold Steel Desperado is CUTE.
Anyway, here are the best pics I could manage with crappy lighting. Any smears on the blade are from the original shipping oil, as the knife has never been carried or used to cut.
Note also that, if it's not apparent from my "in hand" pic, this is NOT any sort of push knife. It's just held in a conventional manner, and your hand "swallows" the grip, so it looks a lot like the blade of a chef's knife sticking out of your fist.
Anyway, I'll shut up now. Here's the selling details: $285 plus whatever your choice of shipping costs, Paypal is fine if you cover the 2.9%, and I'm not really looking for trades at this time. Also, please respond via PM only.
Thanks for reading my post.
