the contenders are Busse, swamp rat, rat cutlery, and scrapyard.
which one is the absolute toughest, can take the most abuse.
ill be seriously using my bravo-1, but we all get bored and destructive, so i want a different "fun knife"

No seriously, INFI is the toughest steel there is. If you diss INFI, the hogs kidnap you and do whatever it is they do to newbies who diss INFI over in the Busse forum:D. Thank god I haven't reached that level of obbsesion. (Yet:D:foot: I have been eyeing a nice BATAC but my wallet has't reached that level of money yet.)

which is the toughest busse knife, and how is busse toughness compared to rat cutlery and swamp rat

What exactly does "hardwork" mean?

Would someone working in a slaughterhouse all day choose a Busse knife, or would he stick with his thin Green River butchers blade?

I've got nothing against any of the listed knives (I own a couple myself), but this "hardwork" stuff is getting ridiculous.

no need to puff up, im lazy right now, i mean like chopping wood, batoning, stabbing through sheetmetal, knifetest material.

buy some and go for it! then sell the losers!

by the list you have, you already know some good ones. there are many, many more.

I thought there were tougher steels than INFI just that it was better in other where others steels fall short.

im not going to get a busse, because i want more than 1 knife, i think ill start with rat cutlery or swamp rat.

I`d say Scrapyard... Though i suppose Busse would be "tougher".
Add to everything the warranty of the Busse's. Don`t know if Scrapyard has the same warranty as Busse does, but either way. Hard to beat.

But... Dare i suggest... Get the proper tool for the job, and stop relying on knives to do everything? Never mind.. I didn`t just say that.. I`m merely a figment of everyones imagination. :foot: :barf:
Indeed, never mind me. Get the knife you want. Heck, if you`ve got enough money, or spread your purchases over enough time, get them all!

I don't know which knife is the toughest. I choose a knife for how it holds up under demanding conditions when used properly. Abusing a knife is not what I do.

My Becker BK9 has seen hell and kept on going. It's done great for me.

I've got a RC-3 on the way to me so I'll be able to test that one out and see how it works.

I also have a Graham Brothers Razel and it is paying for itself working around the house and yard.
