Recently returned from the Oct. ADIHEX show in Abu Dhabi in the UAE. Must admit, what a trip!
It is quite a different market from the North American, European, Asian market with some markedly different approach to design needs and desires. This will be a chance to try out new ideas.
Met a few designers from the local area, the love of a good knife is universal, but the artistic interpretation definitely shows a different cultural influence.
Will post more as I clear my notes.
First, something to recall home...a cheese steak sandwich! Pretty good too.
And...a 60 Kg (120 lb.) gold ring in Dubai...that's a hunk of metal!
Also got a bunch of products and prototypes, will be posting those for your viewing pleasure.
