Abuse knife better than ScrapYard 711?

Of all my knives, the Ontario SP53 is probably my preferred batoning victim.

SP53 is definitely one of the Best bang for the Buck.... everyone should try it.
-im keeping mine

Edit: and probably the OP best option, should be his first look. It outworks most knives costing twice as much.

Didn't see a budget.

Busse Boar Lord!

"It makes trees into logs, logs into kindling, and shaves kindling into easy-to-light slivers, all with one, hand-held tool."

that looks like the most batoning knife on earth.
it also looks like a lawnmower blade with a handle - which is exactly what I would make if i wanted to sit around the backyard and baton wood while i watched it burn.

it gets my vote

Oh, I guess I should mention I have used Skrama 240, an El Chete from TOPS, and the Ontario SP mentioned above. All work fine for the job with the late and lamented Ontario being the best value.

Battle Grade Hellrazor gets my vote. It’s the one on the right.

They pop up once in a while around 3 bills. Hell, ANY battle grade Busse you like the looks of would work. You will not find a tougher knife for the money. I’d be scouring their sales forum.
Except an SR77 based, 0.28” fat Swamp Rat :)
