Academy Sports has Buck 110's for $21.43. My nephew's get stocking stuffers!:D
 
I saw that. And I bought mine from Academy two weeks ago at $27.64 and thought that was a good price!!!!

I was in our local Academy just today . Their 110 's were still the $27+ range.

I checked the Academy here in my town. The 110's were marked with the $27 price, but as the manager walked by he directed me to another display where they were marked to $21.43. He told me the 110's were their best selling knife. That's interesting considering they have probably over 50 other knives for sale (mostly imports unlike the 110). Anyway, my holiday shopping is done for now!
 
I confess, I made another run to a different Academy today. They had 10 left at the $21.43 price.
Now they only have 4 left. :o :D
 
Wow LFH, either you are a 110 hog, or several folks are getting really nice Xmas gifts! :D

Picked up a $21.43 Academy Buck 110 tonight. I'll use the 420HC for a while, and then this one is going in to Buck for a BG-42 blade change.
 
I guess I could be a 110 hog. One of these days I am going to round them all up and take inventory.

Hey, if you're giving these newly purchased 110s away, you certainly aren't a "110 hog." You're merely sharing your appreciation for Buck 110s.

I've never had any luck defining whether I have "too many" knives...but, I think that if you lose count of how many you have, you might, indeed, have 'too many' knives! However, "too many knives" might simply be a part of the phrase 'too many knives to count'.... ;)

Been thinking about a full inventory for insurance purposes. Going to take a lot of looking, an Excel spreadsheet, and several hours. Does that mean I have "too many knives"?

No, it might mean that I have too few knives, actually...or, too good of a memory. That's it! I need to keep buying knives until I lose count! ;)

No, it just means that you need a pretty, young secretary to help keep track.:D

I think it is worth the effort. I refer to my spread sheet often when looking at knives to buy. I don't have enough room to display all my knives, so many set in boxes and I then to forget some that I have already bought. It helps me to have a list of the ones I have to avoid duplicate purchases. Not that duplicates are bad, just costly.

I think the Academy flyer with the $18.63 price expires after today. Maybe someone can confirm that. I don't have a copy here anymore. I took the one I had to Walmart today and they matched the reduced price. Now I have another 110, but this one (from Walmart) has the heavy, padded nylon sheath. I already had brown and also black leather sheath models and one with the shiney, nylon sheath.

Stick a fork in me....I'm done.

Yes she is! When I was ordering my custom, she said I should order TWO. :D

She gets caught up in these knives about as much as I do..
 
This ad says prices good thru Dec 10. But there is a little "Right Now" emblem in the 110 piece. Whatever that means.
