Accidentally scaring someone with your knife? post your story

I think Killgar is absolutely headed in the right direction, liberal media, movies, workplace, all portray knives as evil. Then when their is an incident involving a knife it is repeatedly played over in the liberal based news media. It is their way of shapeing a more "perfect world with goverment control". I guess we need to forget the 200,000 years man has been on earth developing his use of tools. Let's go back to using our teeth or a stick to cut things. IMHO WTF.

I live in South Carolina - we aren't afraid of knives. All upstanding Southern Gentlemen carry a pocket knife.

REPRESENT!! SC is probably the best state around to carry a knife. The only restrictions are you can't have one on school grounds. I love it!
I carry a 7 inch fixed blade everyday to work. I stopped at the walmart in lexington the other day to pick up a kiddie pool for my baby. I thought about taking my knife off my belt but then I figured what the hey, you never know when you will need your knife. There was an employee struggling to open a large sack of potatoes to stock and I saw the desperation in his face. I said, sir would you like for me to cut that open for you? I proceeded to pull out my small fixed blade and opened it for him. No fear, no shock. Just gratitude.

My cousin and I grew up together. Granted, my father is the outdoorsy time while his likes to play tennis but we would spend a lot of time together doing kids stuff. When we grew up, he went to school and became a banker, I joined the infantry.

Well, the years wear on and we still see each other as much as possible. Go skiing, have dinner, holidays and the such. Yet he still stares every time I bring out a folding knife to do a folding knifes job. One time I used a SAK to cut a stray string from my button-down shirt and he stared at me like I had a d!ck growing out of my forehead.

Very strange. I guess that's what happens if the only work you do is in an office.
