Ok, it WASN'T an accident. Hahahh..
Been loving my Large Regular since I've bought it recently. Carrying it almost everyday. Cleaning, adjusting, different lubes. It's really been occupying my knife brain nicely...

So, it being 10 years old and a user, you can imagine it had a few marks on the titanium. I took the blade out, took the stop pin and backspacer out, placed a spare set of screws in, took pocket clip off, and got my stuff ready. Threw it in a large water bottle with some nice stones and some WD-40 and threw it in the dryer. While it was in the dryer I used a dremel polishing wheel to just shine up the female sides of the screws...
Also used a scotchbrite pad to take the blue off the thumb stud and the backspacer. Made a leather lanyard out of a shoelace. And.... MY knife is BORN!!!

What came out is a pretty decent stonewash on the handles and a beautiful knife that's mine thru and thru!! I love it and this knife has been getting used so much at work!! This is possibly my favorite knife ever, and I've had quite a few, believe me!!

What do you guys think?
The pics aren't great, but I was excited!

I also prefer the knife before the 'wild ride in the dryer'. I think character marks would look much better, that's me tho.

I have 3 large regulars, soon to be 5. I plan to let things happen naturally to most of mine.

Beautiful job!

I have 2 lg Regulars, a drop point and a tanto, both old, worn, and happy about it.

I totally love the naturally worn took too.. I just had a bug to do something. Lol. I can always get the handles re-blasted if I wanna switch back..
I used to have a "nuked" 21 and I absolutely loved the look of it. Don't think I would have the balls to do that to this one though.. lol

I actually have the perfect solution!! Get more Regulars!!!! Hahaha

Very nice and as you said "My Knife was born" it is yours and it looks great!! I have one large regular and thinking what can I do to it to make it "My knife" as you said. Great job!!!

I think both before and after look great. I think you just need to buff the backside of the thumb lug and it will be perfect.

Looks great, and +1 to you for trying something like that!

Thanks man!! And everyone else who liked it, and everyone who didn't!!
I def dig it! Some knives just have a soul to me.. some, even though mechanically perfect and cool, don't.
May sound ridiculous, but I definitely connect with some knives. It's no wonder pimped and customs do so well.

Added a couple more pics up top in the first post.

Thanks!!! I was thinking of doing that forsure... but I like the blue just on the back. Gonna wear it for awhile and see what happens!
Another interesting thing, I scotch-brite padded the blue off of the backspacer and then threw that piece in with the stonewash, and it ended up matching the handles perfectly..

I think it turned out very well. Has a unique look that is your own as much as being pocket worn.

Nice! Regulars are IMO the best looking sebenza design. I hope to own one someday.

There is just something about stonewashed Ti
May I ask what kind of stones you used ?

My small Sebenza occasionally gets washed in the washing machine when I forget to unclip for the pocket of my jeans. I don't notice until it starts clunking in the dryer.
I sure come out nice and clean and none the worse for wear. :D
