How wide a V do you cut off? Also, have you ever successfully unfolded a billet withouth removing v's - just by cutting notches?

Hey Joss, I cut 45 degree angles, but you can cut any angle you want. As for slot cutting, yes I've done a couple that way also, but its really easy to tear the billet unless you really take it slow and easy. Accordians can be agravating , working up a billet and gettin it just so and then ruining it, opening it up. Believe me, I know all about that.:(
