Namaste Y'all,

Mom's Sirupati arrived today along with 3 other khukuris and I have to say that I love it

....but Mom will be getting it this weekend at Thanksgiving(Canuck version) and I'll be darned if my aching heart will stand it

....maybe if I'm really nice, she'll allow me to handle it.

Anyway, many thanks to you, Uncle Bill and Pala and the kami that made this khukuri possible...

And thank you, Harry. I hope the Sirupati served mom well. Treat mom well and tell her best wishes from all the folks from HI both here and in Nepal. Remember, she gets the special blessing of the kamis along with her khukuri!

At least I can console myself by testing out the four khukuris this weekend, but I am sure that my Mother will be quite pleased with the Sirupati. At least she'll have something with more authority than the Hank Arron baseball bat she keeps by the bedside in case of any uninvited visitors...

By the way, thank you for those khukuris also.
