acid etching a blade ???

Just a question on acid etching blades. I have seen several videos on you tube is there a better insulation medium than fingernail polish? I tried it on my first practice blade and it seemed the acid got under the polish in places. Thnx for any help.

Try spray paint. That works better than nail polish for me, and it comes off nicely with some paint remover gel.

+1. Multiple coats of spray paint. Dry in between coats.
