I was too excited to stay at work all day today, so i went home "sick" today at 2pm.

And waiting for me in my office at home was my GRAIL knife!

I opened the package and was more stunned than I thought I would be. Just amazing...

This is going to make an EXCELLENT EDC knife! Can't wait to use it all day everyday.

Large Sebenza 21 with Stainless Steel Raindrop Damascus by Devin Thomas.

That's a beautiful knife. You're a braver soul than I to carry that thing. Hell I sold my Umnum last year after only having it a month cause I simply couldn't bring myself to carry it, like, at all lol. And it wasn't NEAR as pretty as that thing. More power to ya, its a sweet blade.
 
Holy crap that damascus is beautiful!! I hear they will fix that blade up if there is ever any damage done to it, so I guess you do not have to worry about using it. Their warranty is really good, correct? I remember one guy with a damascus sebenza saying that, that no matter what they will make that blade look new even after you beat the crap out of it.

Never heard of stainless damascus, sounds interesting, and looks amazing! I want to know more about it!:)
 
That is the coolest looking Sebenza I have every laid eyes on. Holy F@&$. I want one. Got any more details? So someone else did the damascus blade, but Chris Reeve will still cover it under his warranty?
 
Why did you choose a plain handle? Aesthetically, the blade is like a 10 but the handle is not. Did you want people's eyes to pop out when you open it up? Were you going for something incongruous? Or did you like the contrast of the plain blade against the embellished handle? (Pardon my curiosity, it is genuine.)

I love that look. The classic Sebenza handle is what is appealing to me about CRK's. I am not the author of this thread, but that's my take on it! I love the look of that knife, and I think the blade and handle are both a 10. After seeing this knife, the Sebbie has shuffled it's way right to the top of my ever growing list of knives that I want... Damn you bladeforums!
 
i haven't seen a damascus sebenza with plain handles yet, that looks pretty cool, congrats!
