I'm seeing some scales advertised as wooden stabilized acrylic. Is the acrylic a different way to stabilize? As good or not as good as having someone like K&G stabilize?

Thanks

So, the best stabilizing "that done by k&g or wssi" is done with methyl methacrelate, I'm not positive if they use the monomer or the polymer though. Either way, it's a relative of acrylic, and if someone was explaining it to a layman they may use the term acrylic.

But onow that note, no. It's got as good as k&g. What people do is theyour think be a useful they can hold 27ish inches of vacuum that they can stabalize. The real key is where you need to spike the pressure to 3000 psi, and no one but k&g and wssi that I know of do that.
