I've got a watch cap, it says 100% acrylic. Just wanted to know if I'm supposed to avoid it like cotton, or if it's good to go? I'll probably go out and buy a wool one later, but until then...
You're good to go with acryilic. The big complaint with cotton is that it gets wet, stays wet and loses all insulation power acrylic doesn't do that.

Acrlic has its plusses and minuses . its easy to wash and will dry relatively quickly . A good wool cap qwill be warmer even if it gets a bit damp . I wouldn,t wash a wool cap as often and it won,t dry as quick . I always have a few caps lying around . If its gonna be a cold one I,ll always reach for wool .
