I have an Active Duty, Satin & Black Canvas Micarta. It hasn't been a very good knife for me, so I have decided to give it away to a contributor of this forum. It is new as received from Busse.
And now for the rules, and YES, there are rules in order to win.
1. You MUST HAVE at least 100 POSTS as of the time this thread is posted in the Busse Combat Knives Forum to enter. (This is to ensure that someone who is a contributer to the Busse Combat Knives forum wins. Not just anyone who stops by. It's my give away, my rules, no exceptions. I will verify the number of posts a user has in this forum before declaring a winner).
2. You may only enter one time.
3. You must live in the US to enter and get free shipping. If you are outside of the US, you may enter but if you win you will be responsible for the shipping costs which will be by USPS Registered Mail only with Insurance. This is for my protection and yours.
3. To enter, post to this thread (only once) and give a number between 1 & 999. (I will use a random number generator to pick a winner. The person who picks a number that is closest to the number given by the Random Number Generator gets the Active Duty).
4. This contest will remain open for 24 hours only. The start time is the time of this post. The end time is 24 hours later. If you post your intent to be entered into this contest after 24 hours has elapsed, your entry is invalid.
I will announce the winner as soon as I can following the end of the 24 hours. It will be no later than Friday evening 2/5/2010 .
If you need to verify how many posts you have in this forum, please do the following.
1. Run a search in advanced mode.
2. Select to run the search by username, enter your username into that box. Also ensure that Find Posts by User is selected, not Find Threads Started by User.
3. Under Search In Forums, and under Manufacturers Forums, select the Busse Combat Knives forum.
4. Now run the search. The screen you will be taken to shows all of the threads you have posted in. On the Right of the screen you will find output like the following. It lists the total number of posts in the Busse Combat Knives forum you have made. If the total is 100 or over, you may enter.

Search took 0.33 seconds.
Now for the good stuff. I have below a few photos of the knife the winner will receive. You will receive the knife pictured. Good luck to all who enter.
