Just a note to let all know I'm still in the US. We leave sometime in June, for Iraq.

Heavyhaul/Bill,

Good to hear from you! Maybe they'll get enough of the Iraqui Nat'l Defense trained before June and you can stay here!!!

Watch yer 6, Bill...

My bro is still over in Doha Qatar, doing plane refuelling. He's career AF, set to retire in about two years. He loves his job, but really feels like he wants to have a life after the USAF now. He's in his mid 40's and been in since 18. He's done both stints in the Sandbox, first one up close and personal>

Take care Bill and wacherass!

Think you could send me some dried camel spit from a young camel that ain't been weened yet when you get a chance?
Kefir from the camel's mouth so too speak. ;)

Much appreciated.

Never have enough.:D

Be well, stay safe. If you or any of your guys want some contact with the outside world, just ask and I'm sure some of the Cantina folks (I speak for myself right now so it's a small "some") will oblidge.

Well, I'm still here at Ft. Bliss. We take 4 days off, to visit family, on the 15th of June. Then we fly to Kuwait around the 21st. From Kuwait, we move to Fallujah, Iraq. The unit we are replacing has been shot at, and had IED's (Improvised explosive device) exploded on them about every other mission out the gate. We will fallin on their equipment, which is armored. Lot's of fun, NOT. Well, I need to get back to training my troops, take care. I'll post my new address as soon as I know it.

Very best of luck, Bill. Take care. Don't win any medals, it's often fatal.

Let us know if you need anything.

Hope you get the upgraded Humvees with the armor plating on the underside. Some people here in Houston sent a lot of kits over to retrofit. Thanks for your service and God Bless you and your unit. Come home in one piece.
Terry

Take care of yourself and your men. We will be praying for you. And do let us know where to send the care packages.....I know they are appreciated.

Take good care Bill. I hope you will be able to check in from time to time. I wish you the best of luck. What knive(s) are you planning on taking?

Norm
