Active duty

Good luck and God speed.

They have some species of poisonious snake over there. I wish I could see it. If one comes by, shoot it for me, won't you?

Well, I'm still here at Ft. Bliss. We take 4 days off, to visit family, on the 15th of June. Then we fly to Kuwait around the 21st. From Kuwait, we move to Fallujah, Iraq. The unit we are replacing has been shot at, and had IED's (Improvised explosive device) exploded on them about every other mission out the gate. We will fallin on their equipment, which is armored. Lot's of fun, NOT. Well, I need to get back to training my troops, take care. I'll post my new address as soon as I know it.

Good to hear from you Bill. I mentioned you to someone recently and I was wondering how you were doing, cause you mentioned actually going over there in June.

Hope you make it back soon and safe!

Good Luck Sarge! I pray that your time there will be short in a good and gentle way and that you and all those under your command as well as everyone else over there comes home safe and sound.

Thank you for your service.

I know that at times it is a load on your shoulders, but I know you will never have anything to be ashamed of.

Good luck and watch your step.

Hey Bill, sorry we did not finish the job right when I was there back in 91...my old unit the 2/11th ACR is over there now :D

Making history, cant be more proud I think...

I would love to go over again LOL and my wife found out I was trying as a freelance photographer with the 2/11th, talk about **** hitting the fan when I told her (after she saw my emails  ) I thought I would be way more safe over there at that time :D
