blademan13 is a man I consider a friend. I spent last Saturday at his house. He put nice micarta scales on my Emerson CQC-7A, polished the titanium liners, satin-finished the blade and put a wicked sharp edge on it. The knife looks like a custom piece. "The devil is in the details" as I always say. This a public thank you for all his hard work, which he did for free. I have made good friends through this hobby and this forum. I had seen Jamie around but it wasn't until he emailed after seeing my posts on the Chris Reeve forum (about 2 years ago) that I got to know him. He knows a hell of a lot more about customs (which I'm just getting into) than I do and has been a great resource for my, "what should I buy? Is this a good deal?" and other non-stop questions. In all sincerity, thanks again.

Jamie is a great guy. We have exchaned emails several times and I have one of his custom-modified knives. He does a great job!!!
I would deal with Jamie in a heatbeat, he is on my good list for sure.

Leo, no problem at all. I am tickled that you like the knife so much. I gained a little experience and you got a cool knife. Pretty even trade I'd say. ;)

You should all be included on anyone's good list as far as I am concerned. Part of what makes this place so cool :cool:
 
I just completed a very smooth deal with Jamie - prompt shipment, great communication - and I ended up with a LUSCIOUS knife! :D
