I’m sorry if this is long winded but I have some down time today, ( first time in a while) and would like to share my experience with Timeless razors.
I started using a double edge safety razor a couple months ago just to see if it was for me. It was. Unfortunately the cheap razor I bought is already showing sings of wear,(actually it broke), so I set out to find a better quality shaver. I try to support local businesses when possibly so I began researching a few small USA made companies and came across Timeless. Turned out their business is within an hour from me (in Ohio). My biggest problem was what model and spec would be best for me.
I called and spoke with Matt from Timeless and after a short discussion he helped me make the proper choices. The model that appealed to me and met the specs of what Matt recommended was going to run me twice what I figured to spend, (about 200 dollars). Being hesitant I did not buy at that time. Credit my wife who pointed out later that day that I have no problem buying pocket knives that cost over 3 or 4 hundred dollars (or more,lol), that I "actually" use once a week but I’m reluctant to spend an extra 100 bucks to buy something I use every day (sometimes twice a day). So I bought it.
First off the Razor is a freaking work of art, above and beyond anything I expected as far as function, quality and looks and a value in my opinion, but I’ll save that info for a review in the grooming section some day.
This gushing review is about the people at Timeless. They appreciate their customers like no other company I’ve worked with in a very long time. For example, as per their web sight, they request all Military, Police, Fire Dept, Medics, Doctors and Nurses put a note in the order. I’m a Nurse who owns a small home health agency, without saying that explains my recent lack of down time. Without going into detail, I will tell you that their “Thank you” is very generous. My conversations with Matt were awesome and naturally included the recent COVID impact on all of us including the difficulty we have getting protective equipment for my nurses and patients. One of my accounts is minutes from the factory so Matt said he would run my razor out to me instead of shipping. In addition to the beautiful razor, and thank you gifts, he donated gloves for our workers and refused to accept payment for them. I am blown away by the generosity. These are seriously good people and I’m proud to support and recommend them.
