Ad idea for magazine

So I'm reading "Forbes" the other day and I'm noticing all the ads. None for knives, of course, but plenty for $5000.00 watches and junk like that. Then I have a small thought. Why not a Spyderco ad in "Forbes"?? Well I imagine cost is one reason, but someday it should be feasible.
Anyway what I see is a full-page ad, showing some well dressed business executive trying to open a package with their $300.00 fountain pen, and getting ink all over their $1800.00 suit. Then standing right beside the ink stained executive, another well-dressed executive using his Calypso to safely open his package. Maybe pulling out another Spyderco. Have a witty saying across the top, something like “Which one would you want at your next board meeting? Spyderco. Making an executive even sharper.”

Like I said, just a small thought. I have them every few months or so.

Blades - Interesting notion. We have advertised in duPonts Registry in the past.

Forbes is quite expensive (a full page ad might be $20,000+ per month). Gotta sell a lot of knives to pay for that kind of advertising.

$20,000!!!!!!!!!! Holy Cow!!! I figured it would be expensive, but I didn't guess that high. Hmmm...
Maybe you could just donate knives for the gift baskets that they give to the presenters at the Emmy's, or Grammy's.(One of those shows) I read in another magazine where it was the "hip" thing to do. Have your product in the gift baskets. The baskets were worth $10,000+ or so. Oh well enough of my ideas.
