Adam DesRosiers JS - Back in the fire!

I was wondering if it was Haley, as in Haley Bell. I guess it was. :) Congratulations to both of you! You make a very attractive couple.

mmmmmmmm...halibut...:)

Thankyou all for your kind comments...and special thanks to Buddy for being so generous with his time! Adam and I actually met via bladeforum and the matchmaking talents of Jason Knight so THANKYOU ALL!

Very cool, congrats.

Halibut, yum!

Judging by that picture it would appear as if you only need to catch 6 more to hit your goal - HOLY COW is that a big halibut!

It was great meeting the two of you at Blade - wish I'd gotten more time to speak with the two of you. Ah well, next time...

Good to know he's back!!!!
I just love his style!!!
I had th oportunity to hold one of his knives, witch he gave to Rodrigo Sfreddo
Best regards

Good question about the lack of knife pics on the website.:o We'll be getting the real thing up and running as soon as we return from our honeymoon. I don't have any immediate images of my sweetheart's blades for you but here's a pic of one of my latest creations. Adam's taught me to make damascus and you can see I've borrowed some style elements from him and Jim Rodebaugh...and Jason's milling machine...dang those are handy for guard fitting!

Is that the one you had a Blade? It was VERY nice work. As for those big milling machines, yeah, they are handy. I'm stuck with the Harbor Freight Wobbler Special whihc means cut I small and file a lot.:D As for the guys' comments about big halibut, i didn't think you guys had any small ones up there.

Looking very nice, Haley.... I guess that you are able to get off the boat for a while.
The big day is coming up pretty fast.
I here that jim will be up here shortly..... or should I say, soon...
I shouldn't use short and jim in the same sentence..... sorry, I just had to.
Seriously , it will be good to see Jim and Maria......

Best of luck to you two,
David

Thanks David, we're really looking forward to seeing all our friends in one place for a change. You boys better play nice at the wedding...with all those swords floating around someone could get end up in two pieces:D

I cant wait I will be there on the 10th, sword in hand. But how do I get there from Juno?Love you both
Jason

Jason, The wedding is in Petersburg. I know that Alaska Airlines flies there, so you could have flown directly to Petersburg. Let me know if you come to Juneau. You can fly there, or take the ferry. I haven't checked the schedule yet... I suppose that I should.

David
